Please Help Us Rebrand!

Two years ago we put out the first version of our proposed model for the creation of alternative economic zones based on Gesellian principles. At that time we called it the “EZ” model, which stands for Enterprise Zone. You can read the original proposal here:

A Concrete Plan of Action

Since that time, the idea has evolved significantly, and we are getting ready to roll out an updated version. To give a brief idea of its evolution, the first version was quite specific. It envisioned something that looks like a flea market, a mercado, or an Argentinian barter club. The latest version is intended to be more flexible and adaptable. Rather than specifying what it would look like externally, the new version will consist of a “tool kit” which can be applied to a wide variety of situations and circumstances. The tool kit will consist of 3 elements: a demurrage currency system, a road map for establishing community ownership of the premises, and an adaptable governance model.

The hope is that each individual implementation will draw on the unique creativity and experiences of the specific community and that therefore no two implementations will look the same. One might look like a flea market, another might look like an industrial park, another like an agricultural cooperative, and yet another might be applied to revitalize an abandoned shopping mall. The range of possible implementations is as wide as the imaginations of the communities which choose to use the model. The hope is that by jettisoning the idea of a specific outward manifestation the tool kit will be used by a wide variety of groups in a wide variety of outward manifestations.

And this is where the idea of rebranding the model comes in. Quite frankly, we’ve never been fully satisfied with the EZ name, and now would be a good time to change it if we can come up with a better name. So we would greatly appreciate your feedback via the following multiple-choice question:
